Tender Loving Care’s Global CEO Yasser Zaki Steps Up for CEO Dare to Cure 2025 to Help Find a Cure for Childhood Cancer

Sydney, NSW – Yasser Zaki, Global CEO of Tender Loving Care, has officially joined the CEO Dare to Cure 2025 challenge in support of the Children’s Cancer Institute. This October, Yasser will bravely take on the Snake Bath Dare, a bold challenge that will help raise vital funds and awareness for life-saving childhood cancer research.

As part of this national movement, Yasser joins hundreds of CEOs and business leaders across Australia who are stepping out of their comfort zones to make a real difference in the fight against childhood cancer. Each dare, from icy plunges to heart-racing challenges, represents courage, leadership, and compassion for the thousands of children and families who face cancer every year.

“I believe this is three too many,” says Yasser, referring to the heartbreaking statistic that every week, three Australian children and adolescents die from cancer. “That is why this year I have agreed to step out of my comfort zone and raise funds to find a cure for these brave kids who face the fear of treatment every single day.”

Yasser has set a personal fundraising goal of $5,000, which will help fund cutting-edge medical research into the causes, treatments, and prevention of childhood cancer. Every donation made will directly support programs at the Children’s Cancer Institute, including minimal residual disease testing that detects relapse risk in children with leukaemia and advanced genetic studies that lead to safer, more effective treatments.

A Challenge That Inspires Leadership and Compassion

The CEO Dare to Cure is more than a fundraising event; it is a leadership movement that unites business leaders around a common goal: to help end childhood cancer once and for all. Each participant chooses a challenge that symbolises courage and empathy, reflecting the difficult journey that children with cancer endure through treatment and recovery.

Yasser’s chosen challenge, the Snake Bath Dare, will test his bravery as he steps into a bath filled with snakes to raise funds for research and inspire others to do the same. His participation reflects the core values of Tender Loving Care—leadership through compassion, action, and community.

“Kids fighting cancer do not need miracles, they need medical research,” says Yasser. “Together, we can make that research possible.”

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month: A Time to Take Action

September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, making it the perfect time for Australians to take action. More than 1,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer in Australia every year, and despite medical advancements, too many young lives are still lost.

Through initiatives like CEO Dare to Cure, the Children’s Cancer Institute continues to fund life-changing research and develop targeted therapies that give children the chance to grow up free from cancer.

An Invitation to Join the Movement

With only weeks to go before the big event, Yasser and the Tender Loving Care team are calling on colleagues, peers, and business partners to show their support. Whether through donations or by joining the challenge, every contribution helps bring hope to children and families affected by cancer.

“We are so grateful for leaders like Yasser,” says Cameron Bayfield from the Children’s Cancer Institute. “His commitment embodies the spirit of CEO Dare to Cure—stepping forward for those who cannot and using his platform to inspire others to take part.”
