Do you speak my language?
Staff speak 35+ languages every day. Tell us the language that feels like home. Need an interpreter? Ask us. The other languages on this website are a draft until a human translator checks the important words.
How do I find support for my family?
Go to Find support. Tell us a name, a phone or email, the language that feels like home, and the support you need. Or call 1300 998 885. We do not collect an NDIS number on this page.
Who does Tender Loving Care Disability support?
People with disability aged 0 to 65 through the NDIS. That includes autism, intellectual disability, physical disability and mental health support needs. Call 1300 998 885 to talk about yours.
Am I eligible for the NDIS?
The NDIA decides, not Tender Loving Care Disability. In general the NDIS is for people under 65 who are Australian citizens, permanent residents or hold a Protected Special Category Visa, and who have a permanent and significant disability that affects everyday life. This is general information, not advice. Check with the NDIA. How to check your eligibility (NDIS website)
What is the difference between SIL and SDA?
SIL (Supported Independent Living) is the support: help with daily tasks and routines so you can live more independently. SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) is the home itself, built for people with very high support needs. You can get SIL in many kinds of home. SDA is a type of housing the NDIS funds for eligible participants.
What are the four SDA design categories?
Improved Liveability: clear layouts, good lighting and contrast, for people with sensory, intellectual or cognitive disability. Robust: strong, durable, quieter homes with space to calm down, for people with complex behaviours. Fully Accessible: step-free, with wider doors and an accessible kitchen and bathroom, for people with significant physical disability. High Physical Support: everything in Fully Accessible, plus provision for ceiling hoists and backup power, for very high physical support needs. What is SDA? (NDIS website)
What is the difference between Level 2 and Level 3 support coordination?
Level 2 support coordination helps you understand your plan, choose providers and use your supports. Level 3, Specialist Support Coordination, is for people with more complex needs and higher risks, with more intensive help and crisis planning. Your plan says which one is funded. Ask on 1300 998 885 which we can offer you.
What are the three ways to manage an NDIS plan?
Self-managed: you handle the funds and pay providers yourself. Plan-managed: a plan manager pays providers from your plan for you. Agency-managed: the NDIA pays providers for you. Tender Loving Care Disability offers plan management. Guide to your management options (NDIS website)
Can I have a session by telehealth?
Our social work supports can be in person or by telehealth. For other therapies, ask on 1300 998 885 whether telehealth suits you.
What is Matey?
Matey is a plan assistant that can explain an NDIS plan in plain language. It is not Tender Loving Care Disability, not the NDIA, and not a substitute for 1300. Tilly orients the building. Matey orients a plan. Then you talk to a person.
How do I make a complaint?
Call 1300 998 885 or email marketing@tenderlovingcaredisability.com.au and ask for the complaints process. We do not publish a complaints procedure our team has not approved. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is a public body you can also contact.
For support coordinators
I am a support coordinator. How do I place someone?

Are the homes on this site vacant right now?
No. The list is a sample of our homes. Call 1300 998 885 to confirm before placing anyone.
For people looking for work

About this website
Do I have to use the 3D walk?
No. Choose Classic view, at the top of every page, to read the same six-part story as a plain page. The tour with Tilly is optional, not a test.
Is this a game? Does Tilly score me?
A small one, if you want it. Tilly never scores you: points count what you explore on this website. No leaderboards, no prizes, and it stays in your browser. Switch it off in Access. She stops when you reach a person.
Is this website using a Recite overlay?
No. Access is in the page: skip 3D, Easy English, language, contrast, larger text, keyboard. A toolbar is not an accessible site.
What do you say about yourselves?
Only what we can prove: founded in 2016, 400 staff in Australia, staff who speak 35+ languages, offices in NSW, VIC and QLD, support in six states and territories, and the supports listed on this site.
Is this the new Tender Loving Care Disability website?
Yes. It is built around a walk through our rooms, a way to explore our support in 3D or as text. Our phone team is the same.
What do you do with the form I send?
Find support and the coordinator enquiry send what you type to our team. We do not collect an NDIS number, medical detail, or incident facts on those pages. Access choices stay in your browser.
